Weekly Guidance: 5/22 - 5/28
This week, something inside of you that has been choked of air needs to breathe. When we can’t find the words, or the people, that might allow us such expression, there’s another path that’s just as freeing.
Art and play. Sing. Dance. Paint. Write. Laugh. Explore. Doodle. If you’re not sure what to do, find something that fits the mood that aligns with what you want to get out. Anger? There are coloring books for that - this one was actually gifted to me recently and I just know it’s going to come in handy sooner or later. Romantic? Poetry. For your eyes only, if you’re feeling self-conscious. Having trouble expressing sadness? Sing your sorrowful heart out. Got some happy that’s been shoved down? Dance!
This week, don’t let anything stay bottled up. Find a way to speak your truth, even if it’s in the parallel language of art or play.
