The Creator's Dilemma
When you find something lovely, do you build on it? Or do you leave it in its natural state?
Do you place a bench among the wildflowers for better observation? Or do you erect a statue to Persephone?
We hold within ourselves tremendous duality. Appreciation and creation often compete with each other.
Stand back. Sink in. We're pushed and pulled from one second to the next.
It's true that once we start building upon something it's difficult to undo. Ink doesn't erase. Asphalt takes time to crack and wear.
So should words never be recorded, and roads never paved?
There's balance in there somewhere.
